Emergency Response
50 hours - $275
(Includes Resuscitation Mask)
This advanced first aid and CPR training is designed for
public safety personnel, athletic trainers and emergency response team
members.
Participants learn basic and advanced first aid skills,
CPR for the professional rescuer, preventing disease transmission,
breathing devices, oxygen administration, automated external
defibrillation, childbirth, moving victims, advanced splinting and
bandaging, head and spine injury treatment, multiple casualty triage, and
emergency scene management. This course includes emergency scene simulation
and role playing.
The Emergency Response course meets or exceeds the
guidelines established by OSHA on bloodbourne pathogen transmission and the
U.S. Department of Transportation first responder guidelines and may meet
some prerequisites for EMT training.
Upon successful completion, students receive a
Certificate for Emergency Response (valid three years), CPR for the
Professional Rescuer (valid one year), and AED Training (valid one year).

Emergency Response Recertification
(Challenge)

The participant must have a
current book & Resuscitation Mask (if not they can be purchased),
complete all the skills without instructor prompting and make at least 80%
on the written exam.
Emergency Response Review
$75
(Does not include Resuscitation Mask)
The review includes re-viewing
the video, performing the skills and making at least 80% on the written
exam. The participant must have a current Emergency Response Certificate,
current book & Resuscitation Mask (Book $40 & Mask $15 can be
purchased)
