Babysitter
Training
8.5 hours - $60
Learn babysitting skills, including rescue breathing, conscious
choking emergencies and preventing accidents. Segments include feeding,
diapering, playing with and caring for children. Participants receive the
American Red Cross Babysitter's Handbook.
Upon completion, students 11 years of age and older
receive a certificate for Babysitter's Training. Students less than 11
years of age may audit the course.
It is strongly recommended that participants also
complete the Schools & Community Course for CPR, AED & first aid
skills that will compliment what is learned in this course.

Wilderness First Aid
19 hours - $80
Provides participants with all the latest information on
assessing and treating conditions they may encounter in the wild - from
serious injuries and minor cuts and bruises to weather-related problems and
unexpected major illness. Includes quick-reference checklists of symptoms
and procedures, recommendations on first aid kits and equipment, new
materials on the prevention of infection, splinting, and high-altitude
problems, and a handy First Aid Report Form. This course meets the
standards of the Wilderness Medical Society.
